- Check for documents on the local "C"
drive and move if required.
- Locate the "outlook.pst" file and copy
to the users server folder. Should be located in the folder:
"C:\Documents & Settings\???187\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook"
- Install the new PC.
- Sign on as Administrator.
- Change the network group to "WCDSS"
(requires reboot).
- Create the new user, make a power user.
- Install any required printer drivers and
print test page.
- Install Ez-Filer.
- Install Office Utilities.
map h:=\\wcdss-server2\vdf, run "wsconfig.exe",
set registry security permission for "//HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Data
Access Corporation" to "Full Access" for the "Power Users" group.
Run the "Registration" program, click "Apply".
- Install Rolodex as required.
- Move above shortcuts from the
Administrator profile to the "All Users" profile.
- Install ISSIS scanner driver if
required "easyfiler\updates\ISIS Driver HP5550c".
- Install PIDs
- Log off as Administrator and on as the
user.
- Set the My Documents path to the users
server document folder.
- Map the following drives:
z:=\\wcdss-server2\easyfiler, h:=\\wcdss-server2\vdf
- Configure the Outlook email account and
Import the "outlook.pst" file saved in the users server folder.
